When a new affiliate signs-up, he/she is assigned an affiliate number. When a visitor uses a special link (provided to the affiliate) to visit your product page, a cookie is placed on his/her computer for one month with the affiliate number.
If the visitor buys your product within these 30 days, the affiliate is credited with the sale. The affiliate can view his statistics page and check for new sales.
